April Biggs and I co-moderated a conversation with Mayfield Brooks and Bebe Miller. The conversation surrounded the ideas, practices, and experiences of “Making While Black.” From the spaces, they create and perform in, to the ways in which they see/be themselves in the world up against what the viewers see and make.
